The MaestroMD Sterilization Process

At the heart of the MaestroMD Sterilization System is the sterilization technology, the only process available today that kills 100% of viruses, bacteria and fungi in any brass and woodwind instrument, without damaging its delicate inner workings.

How it Works
Your instrument is packed in a container and placed in a large enclosure, which is filled with a sterilization gas. The gas’ molecular properties allow it to flow through the container and through your instrument case’s seams to completely envelop your instrument. After the gas has eliminated 100% of pathogens, the process is reversed and the gas is completely removed from the enclosure and from inside your instrument and its case.

When your instrument is returned, in about 10 business days, the “Sterilized by MaestroMD” decal on the shipping box is your guarantee that your instrument is 100% free of bacteria, viruses and fungi.

The MaestroMD
Process is Safe

The EPA has approved the gas used in the MaestroMD process for sterilizing musical wind instruments. This same technology has been used for decades to sterilize surgical instruments, disposable medical and dental devices, spices, and even bandages and hospital gowns worn by surgeons. It is safe, proven, and effective.
